Wheyrigg Hall Hotel

It was just a smart choice for a weekend pause with all in all great value for money. The roast lamb was delicious! If you're there, don't miss the bar atmosphere.

The staff were kind and faultless and the location was unbeatable close to the airfield I fly from. The service provided there was fantastic!

Friendly and helpfull, excelent meals

Very friendly proprietors and staff. Nice quiet location. Clean,warm and well equipped rooms and overall excellent value (superb breakfast !!) We would definitely stay there again.

The bed in our room was rather too firm/hard for our comfort....but then we find this in most reasonably priced accomodation (probably our age!). Not really a complaint;more a personal observation.

Everything was great, had a great stay for two nights. Got tasty breakfasts with hot options, veggies plus local quality products. The location was marvellous, the staff was ACCOMMODATING. The hotel was in a nice enough area....  

Do recommend for a momentary pause.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, and enjoyable breakfast made our stay pleasant as we appreciated the cleanliness and the free parking available, which facilitated our exploration of local sights.

Had a very relaxing time at the Hotel. Rooms very comfortable and staff were very helpful. We stayed in the family suite which was roomy have already recommended the Hotel to a friend who has 3 children. The Hotel has a small play area...  

We have stayed here before,owners very friendly&helpful,food v.good,good situation for either Solway Coast,Northern Lakes or Carlisle.Always hot water for shower,etc,any time of day,comfy bedroom.

I returned to this charming spot for a short break and was impressed. The staff were super friendly, and the food was better than i remembered, especially the homemade lasagne. The atmosphere and spacious family...  

The room was spacious and equipped with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. The atmosphere was serene. The dinners were really good, particularly the salmon, which I enjoyed enough to order again....  

Friendly staff and proprieters made us feel right at home. The accommodation and food were excellent, with the location being ideal for getting out and about to explore. We would highly recommend the hotel and will definitely...  

A happy atmosphere, convenient to where I was working. The food and drink good and reasonably priced.

The heating broke down when I was there, not good for business I would have thought.

Had a fantastic time with friends exploring Hadrian's Wall and the stunning Lake District. The staff were super friendly, and the food was tasty, especially the salmon dinner which was exceptional. Our Standard Double Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, perfect for a chill getaway.

Friendly and helpfull staff, good food and bar available for most of the day. Comfortable and quiet rooms, well serviced. Good situation for touring the region, if arriving with own mode of transport.
